Resolved - We've experienced issues with Instagram where such video posts containing collaborators failed to publish from approximately 3:00 PM PST to 5:30 PM PST. This has now been resolved and all systems are functioning normally. Any users that encountered this issue should be able to re-attempt publishing these posts as normal.

Update - The TikTok App is once again active in the United States, and customers can continue using the platform to connect with U.S. audiences. TikTok does expect some temporary instability to its services, which could impact TikTok features or users' access to the TikTok app. TikTok is working hard to restore normal operations as soon as possible.

We're here to support you and ensure you stay updated with the latest information from our TikTok partners, including:

1. Campaigns targeting U.S. audiences that were automatically paused will resume, although LIVE campaigns will have certain limitations.
2. Your Hootsuite services are available to create, manage, and measure TikTok content targeting users in the United States.
3. You can continue to set up and modify campaigns targeting U.S. users via Hootsuite. There is also no impact on campaigns targeting other countries.

Monitoring - The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law banning TikTok in the United States, which is set to take effect on January 19, 2025.

At Hootsuite, we are dedicated to supporting our customers' ability to engage effectively on all major social media platforms.

We are maintaining regular communication with TikTok and closely monitoring the developments related to the ban. Our team is working diligently to minimize any impact on our customers and promptly respond to any potential disruptions within the Hootsuite platform.

In the meantime, we recommend taking the following steps to safeguard your TikTok content and insights:

1. Review and make note of any scheduled posts within TikTok. Be prepared with a contingency plan, as these posts may not be published after January 19.
2. Download content and reports with TikTok metrics, as access to this data may no longer be available once the ban takes effect.
