X/Twitter API downtime

We are aware of an issue that impacted X/Twitter services today, April 2nd, 2025, between 6:10 AM and 6:50 AM PST. During this time, users may have experienced difficulties with publishing, data retrieval, and authentication within Hootsuite.

As of 6:50 AM PST, X/Twitter has been fully restored and is accessible via the Hootsuite dashboard. Below is a summary of the impact and recovery:

- Streams: Streams were temporarily unavailable but have since recovered. No data loss is expected, and no user action is required.
- Publishing: Users can now publish posts to X. However, any scheduled posts that failed during the outage will need to be rescheduled (https://ow.ly/Rwsu50VfthI).
- Connecting/Reconnecting X Profiles: Users can now authenticate their X profiles within Hootsuite.
- Analytics: Data has been backfilled, and no user action is required.
- Inbox 2.0: Messages that were not retrieved during the outage will not be recovered.
- Hootsuite Listening & Talkwalker Standalone: All available data has been recovered. Users should reattempt authentication if tokens or channels were disconnected.
